Celebrate Independence Day with this FREE Fireworks Printable Pack! This activity pack is full of activities for children ages 2-8. However, there are some pages that older children would enjoy too.
From flashcards to a fun matching alphabet game, this printable pack is sure to get the kiddos excited! There are language arts, math, and bible activities. Personally, I really like the bible verse activities that are included.
Teaching Tip from Kaycee:
This is how I used this in our homeschool.
Kindergarten:
My kindergartner really enjoyed the letter maze. After she had completed it, I had her hunt for other letters. For example, I would prompt her with the following directions:
- Find the lowercase “h” and put a square around it.
- Find the lowercase “a” and circle it.
- Cross out the letter “g.”
Once we were done with this, I gave her the scissor cutting pages and had her cut on the lines. I instructed her to make sure that her thumb was facing up to encourage her to correctly use the scissors. After she was done, I had her piece back the pieces she cut out like a puzzle.
Elementary
My elementary children (by elementary children, I mean ages 8, 9, and 10) loved the bible verses. They filled in the blank page first. Then they cut out the bible verse and pieced it together in order on a piece of construction paper. Then they decorated it with fireworks!
We love this printable pack! It´s colorful and packed with a variety of activities for your children. As a mama to multiple children, I appreciate that there was a good mix of activities, so the kids were all doing something different.
Make your 4th of July lesson time a little more exciting!
