Every so often, I’ll see a social media post asking how to teach children to be grateful. This is an important skill, but often we forget that it’s one that must be taught. That’s why I love this gratitude journal from Research Parent!
Gratitude Journal for Children
I’ve seen several gratitude journals, but this one has some features I really like.
First, it’s divided into morning and evening for each day.
This way, your children can start each day intentionally. They can think about and plan ways to be helpful and grateful before their day really gets going.
Each evening, there is the opportunity to review actions, events, and choices of the day. This gives your children the chance to really evaluate and apply lessons they’ve learned.
It also lets them realize ways they can be a blessing to others!
And because this journal has been developed by a homeschool mom who understands tight schedules, it only takes about 5 minutes a day.
